Our Toddler Class is a nurturing, stimulating environment where little ones can learn to explore multiple sights, sounds and textures.  Toddlers learn best when they feel secure.  At Lolly's we focus on establishing strong relationships with caregivers, giving children the unique opportunity to explore the world at their own pace in a safe setting.
Teachers will establish close relationships with families in order to tap into the unique developmental needs of each toddler.
Enhancing socialization skills, using our "words" and helping the little ones feel nurtured and loved are the main learning components of this room.  Children partake in group and individual activities. Classroom materials and manipulatives have been strategically chosen for their design and quality and when coupled with water play, sand play, song, musical instruments, and dance, our toddlers are given a beautiful growing and learning experience.  Teachers help our little learners come out of their shells and start to explore their world.

Our Nursery Class continues to incorporate the nurturing aspect of the Toddler Class but extends its' curriculum to include activities which work to broaden children's vocabulary, skills and give them a strong foundation from which to further develop their unique personalities.  3 year olds are in the "adolescent" stage of Early Childhood - not babies anymore but not "big kids" yet.  Children in this age range learn best when they are given multiple outlets to explore math, science and literacy.
The more choices for this age group the better, all coming together to enhance social skills and embark upon academic skill building.
Teachers use a wide range of strategies, including both child-initiated learning and direct teaching.   The learning environment of the Nursery classroom is fostered by first-hand experiences that invite children to investigate, represent and share. This age group is given a multitude of facets by which to continue building their
academic, social and personal skills.

Modeled after Universal Pre-Kindergarten standards and the New York State Board of Educational Guidelines for Academic Success, Lolly's Pre-Kindergarteners are offered a learning experience which will fully prepare children and families for the transition into elementary school.  A print-rich classroom setting allows children to practice literacy skills in real-life experiences.  Intentional teaching of key concepts results in the foundation of literacy learning.  Advanced concepts such as science, geography, cultural studies, history, math and social studies are explored daily and integrated into a rich curriculum.  Lolly's graduates are prepared to embark upon a future of success.
